Day 2

Peninsula Valdes (Whale Watching Season: June to September)

Departing from Puerto Madryn, approximately an hour's drive takes us to Puerto Piramides. Here, you can opt for an exciting whale watching experience (from June to December), a unique opportunity to share the habitat of these majestic marine mammals and enjoy wonderful and harmonious moments.

During the other months, from December to March, you can also take a boat tour, although the main focus will be on observing sea lions and cormorants, and possibly spotting dark dolphins with white patches. Then, we head to the Punta Norte Natural Reserve, a meeting point for sea lions and elephant seals, where between February and April there is a great opportunity to witness the presence of whales, which come here to hunt sea lion pups.

We continue our journey to Punta Cantor, from where you can admire breathtaking panoramic views of the outer coast of the peninsula and the extraordinary beauty of Caleta Valdes.

Day 3

Punta Tombo (Penguin Season: September to March)

We depart in the morning for the penguin sanctuary at Punta Tombo. During the journey, you can enjoy the landscapes of the Patagonian steppe. After approximately two and a half hours by car, we reach our destination, where thousands of penguins make their home on a 200-hectare stretch of mud beaches. It's an impressive sight to see these penguins nesting and caring for their chicks in their burrows. For an hour and a half, you can walk among the adorable penguins and observe them up close in their natural environment. The sanctuary has all the necessary amenities, including park rangers, restrooms, and a cafeteria.

In the afternoon, we will visit the picturesque town of Gaiman, with its Welsh colonial style. Here, you can explore the city's most important historical sites and learn about the history of Welsh colonization in the region and its characteristic architecture, thanks to our expert guide. Then, we'll stop at a traditional Welsh tea house to enjoy a delicious Welsh tea.
